very good movie. must see!!

My family was hooked on this one!

This movie was actually very good - a lot better than some of the violence/blood/slasher laden/overly complex stuff out there that passes for horror. Odd Thomas (the movie) has heart, humor, tension, surprises and satisfactions. The character is a good guy and his supporting cast fits him like a glove. I was really pleasantly surprised. By the way, I am NOT a fan of the books. I read a couple and disliked them intensely. (despite usually liking Dean Koontz's work) This is a case where the movie does the character justice better than the book for some people, like myself. This is a surprisingly high quality film for only being shown in limited release!

Great flick! The ending is a shock and gets you a little... I hope a sequel is in the works...
